History of Blackheath Wanderers

126 sporting years Blackheath Wanderers began as St Paul’s Church’s club back in 1886, moving out to Avery Hill Road before finally settling in Eltham Road, Lee, London SE12 in 1945. With around 280 members spanning over the football, cricket, tennis and netball sections, BWSC are going from strength to strength, our members range from 8 years old to well over 80.

Social Membership

You don't have to play to join BWSC We also have an increasing social membership that come down to the club to have a few drinks
in the bar while watching one of the many sports at the club ground or being shown on the big screen projector in the main hall.

Our fully licensed bar is open every weekend
and some evenings during the week. It offers the normal range of beers and spirits that you'll find at your local but
at reduced rates for our members.
